Nativa - Visual Identity Redesign
This was a visual identity redesign project for a restaurant/cafe in Brazil. Nativa uses the slow food method focused on local produce, and avoiding industrialized products. Organic ingredients are selected to create fresh sandwiches and salads.
The client wanted a fresh appearance on the logotype using organic movements, colors, calligraphy, and a more humane approach in general.
The new visual identity should communicate their artisanal handmade vibe. They also wanted to keep their symbol, a native plant from their region in Brazil.
Keywords were: fresh, natural, original, artisanal.
After sketching several options, one caught the client's eye. It was simple enough while still maintaining enough details so the local people would still recognize the plant.
